UK Unemployment 2.67 Million.
According to figures from the Office for National Statistics, in the 3 months to December, UK unemployment rose 48,000 to 2.67 million.
The number of young people without a job rose 22,000 to 1.04 million in the 3 months to December, taking the unemployment rate for 16- to 24-year-olds to 22.2%.
In January, the number of people claiming Jobseeker's Allowance increased by 6,900 to 1.6 million.
